Wavy Dash emoji was first rolled out by Docomo on January 2, 1999 with 1999 update. Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung added the emoji after a long gap on March 8, 2012, July 9, 2012, October 26, 2012, April 27, 2013 respectively.
